Back when I was in the 352nd, I had this thought: why not divide a larger squad into two 'flights' and play them on opposite sides for a squad night practice?
I still think it's a cool idea, but I wouldn't necessarily suggest it for daily play for the squads. But for practice on squad night... why not?
Of course few squads are big enough to do that these days. But I still like the idea for building skills in a squad. Much more realistic than facing off in the practice arena.

Finn, the 4th has been switching sides to even out the numbers for the last year or so. I personally prefer being outnumbered to get some dogfighting action. Its difficult when our entire squad is on as I don't want to break the squad into two sides... so sometimes lopsided numbers can't be helped.
The 4th would be up for switching sides each TOD, but we'd have to work that out ahead of time so the squad is aware of what color we are that TOD. Especially when one TOD its purple against green...then next one is red against gold....
It sucks that numbers have been down, as we used to enjoy escorting the raiders on a buff mission, but if we do that the numbers get really lopsided. Seems like we always get put on opposite sides in S3's now for the same reason... (2 largest squads).
I'm hoping the new update brings in new players....
bollok, I agree...I miss the old WW2 arena- axis vs allies..... that was a blast.
Salute...would love to have a drink with any of you scoundrels....
