I was painting the propeller for the Heinkel and noticed that either:
1. prop is spinning the wrong way
2. or 3d model is mapped wrong way

Anybody can check out if I'm mistaken?

Can't do anything about either I guess. Oh, Well...

Props spin the wrong way on the 3d model.
(as does P51D, as do the 2 hand right engines of the Lancaster, etc)
Nothing can be done without remapping the model (afaik).

Iart7 sir, would you be interested in making a new skin for the Yak-9U? Currently we have the Yak-9D and Yak-3 in the game, and if adding the Yak-9U to the roster we can always use an old -9D skin, but would be really nice with a proper paint job for this Russian fighter. I've found two that look quite nice and were used by the -9U's. It will be nice to finally have a Yakovlev fighter which is competitive in the late war RPS .

I'm almost finished with the camouflage Mig15 jet and should be able to start on the Yak in a few days. I will look for other 9U colors that I'll suggest as well.

This is the "Smoky Glass" in old graphics engine.
Zoom in and look closely. There is even smoky glass
on the fuselage windows! In my testing I even got the
glass to be completely white. Sure is better than black.
Doesn't show up at all in WB2018, still clear as rainwater ...



I'll be working on getting this to show up correctly soon.
The Migs and Sabres can be made to show shiny glass.
I would like to see a combination of shiny glass and
a small amount of smoky glass!

Just got lucky, I guess. I got the glossy glass to work on the Heinkel.
I'm sending the updated .vfc files to Bollock for the next update,
maybe this week?

Here are two files that show what you can see if the sun is just right.

I still want to get some "smokiness" to show up, so the glass is more
visible with sun at different angles. If you know about SELFILLUM,
SPECULAR, DIFFUSE, ALPHA, etc. contact me here.
