Aircraft, radar et al the same as frame 1.
Frame 2 is loosely based on RL, when the 97th Bomb Group conducted a diversion attack during the 19 Aug 1942 Dieppe Raid.
Frames 3-5, again, loosely base on RL bomber missions that occurred subsequently
Allies may only attack one of the four targets listed below in a given frame. They do not have to be attacked in sequence. Targets may not be reattacked in subsequent frames. As such, LW will know in advance what target the Allies will be attacking in frame 5. Targets are:
- Abbeville Airfield (SAF111)
- Oil Storage 91 (standing in for a rail target that is off the map)
- Dunkirk Port (Port 61 – standing in for Rotterdam, which is off the map – only 60% of eligible obj need be destroyed)
- Amiens (Rail Yd 121)
In-flight map available here:
channel1944.dds.
Allies may only claim victory in a frame if a target is closed.
Before each frame, and not later than 2000hrs EST on Sunday, the Allies must declare on the
S3 forum what direction they are approaching from, either from the North Sea or across the Channel.
Allies do not have to declare what their target is. The LW will have to deduce that.
