So the one guy who always seems to have a significant advantage is telling everyone he doesn't do anything, accuses everyone else of doing it, and is the only one posting a video of himself doing it...and everyone is like "oh look, thanks for the info" as if he hasn't been doing it all along. I'm confused. I am really confused.

Well, like I mentioned earlier, was bit surprised from what direction this whistleblowing came. Everyone knows how he used to be invincible and used hacks. I presume this outcome was because he noticed some others (w/o mentioning names) also became invincible and bulletproof 1-pingers. So this is perhaps an attempt to even the odds and whitewash tarnished reputation. And I fully agree what comes to proper anticheat software. Too many old hands have left already.

Most old hands have left because of the years old game strategy of CAPTURE THE FIELD. Combine that with the jabocide/bombacide to do that style of game play and you get turned off. Add in most of the old players that left are now close to 65+ or have died and tired of the kiddie style of play that has developed. That's my observation and experience.

Notice I said most; not all.

Well, I came here 2019 and it was field capture already then so I cannot compare with the old times.

Some "alte hasen" have been swinging by WB just to say hi and tell the greetings. They've told me the reasons they left. What comes to suicide attacks, "killed by ack" after base is closed and other similar "ditching required"-tactics, I agree, they are more than frustrating and also mentioned among the reasons. Even some names were told but I'm not going to repeat them here.

I remember the day closed airfields turned white and you had to have a c-47 close by to capture it and it could be captured by either side. Of course that was before there were troop trucks and other GV's.

Oh the days of WB's being a Flight Sim only was the day it was really fun!

It wasn't, AI was shot down in the beginning of the video. I have several footages, where HE111 flies very differently than in reality, just not published. Seen Lancaster doing similar things, with one certain pilot.

Why hasn't the link to the file been deleted from the forum yet? Apparently, it works in this game. There is video of it working in this game, and ever since this has been posted we have seen quite a few instances when it was probably being used. I mean, are we really trying to kill the game? It seems like people were starting to come back. For the first time in a few months, we've seen 20+ players online (or maybe the high teens) when it wasn't an S3 night. Do we really want it to get down to five or six people online at any given time again? I just watched six people log off as soon as they noticed a certain plane going a lot faster and outrunning planes it shouldn't be able to outrun tonight.

Yep, yesterday was big fun. Even numbers without any super pilots for a while and some really nice furballs . I have taken a habit to either log or go to GVs when certain names appear to the roster.
