Seems like somehow, when you try to man the fixed acks at a field in the current terrain, you will spawn at the off base spawn points for the GV's.. Suddenty there you are way off the base in the desert all alone in your 20, 40 or 88mm ack gun placement..So you have to try and shoot cons from a mile away.. When your position is killed on field, you are too.. But they cant see you firing at them from off base. they seem to see it from the field placement where it is supposed to be. really weird..

Was the same in, if I remember correctly, in couple of previous maps, haven't been around lately. I thought it is some new adjustment to make kamikaze attacks easier. And seems not to be the same in every field. My son tried Legacy last night and said that 88s took him in the village where they are but he didn't try it at airfields, as far as I know.
