Fellow WarBirds Players

As you know, we are working with the new MicroProse to produce a new WarBirds 2020 using Unreal 4 graphics engine.

We are excited about the early work of our developers.

I have asked for suggestions for a new Training system. Anything that you suggest would be welcome.

Here are some work in Progress screenshots.

We will post more as we get further in the development. We are only 6 weeks into the development.

SPINDZ is doing a great job working with the English development team.

When will some of us PLANESKIN ARTISTS be able to run the game. Is that an old graphics Spitfire?

These two images are a huge improvement to the current game.
However, look at the 3 images I have linked below. See the comments.
Of course the 3 images are actual photos, but we should strive for that quality.

I am curious...why are there no updates to the development of WB2020 thread here on iEN forums?

The only update I see is on AGW by someone who will not divulge his relationship with MicroProse and/or iEN.

Its disconcerting and leaves me wondering ...

I followed the AGW posts and all they seemed to want to
discuss was 'Warbirds that we are working on' and the
use of the word QUOTES as shown above. I went on to
the Twitter link and read a little about the "Masters of the Air"
upcoming HBO production.

Can we have dramatic sky renditions such as:

If we actually had puffy clouds that were real objects on the server broadcast to each front end. Talk about game changer. Imagine Dawn of Aces with holes in the clouds and the Hun in the Sun.

So much for transparency and letting us be involved.

Who is on the team? Who will answer our questions and will they
listen to our concerns and listen to our recommendations?

I made a long list of things I would like to "SEE" in the game.

I redesigned the tower menu and updated all of the tower/inflight maps, but I don't know about any of the 3d stuff. I haven't heard anything about that.

I like what you did with the foam where water meets shore. I think you must have seen my Facebook
page and the examples I posted there. Grass and vegetation needs to be sharper, it's too blurry in this pic.



To whoever is doing the terrains, IMO, there is too much green vegetation on the mountains and hills.
Here are some examples of what I think you should do (add more earth tones and grey rocky cliffs without
vegetation. See below (click on back button to return):





I love the clliffs with bare rock and dark shadows on the third image! More of that stuff!
