AFAIK, it's not hijacking if you vote for realistic faces on Warbirds planes.

Try these links:

https://bestpilots.typepad.com/my_weblo ... e-you.html

Might not be possible to find the same image as the first one, because of this:

A pilot that looks like YOU!
"THIS SERVICE IS DISCONTINUED! - Due to our vendor going out of business,
Best Pilots can no longer provide custom pilots that look like you. Please
enjoy the images below of custom pilots that we proudly created for our
satisfied customers!!"

Sounds like a great company for RC enthusiasts, too bad. Going out of business
but should be a good opportunity for you to take up the job. Is the equipment for
sale? Can the process be used in WB2020 to make money?

This last link has some good information if you want to create your own models. Buy a 3D Printer here:

This place lists a price of about $130. How much are you willing to spend for one that walks and talks, Pakrat?

Here is another company, but I think MikeBrentArt.com is no longer working. Looks like they did their work in balsa.

Well, we all know the history of how these things go with WBs. However, having experience developing
software back in the day I can understand delays. Some of the delays were caused by folks who weren't the ones
doing the coding to know what it would take. With Microprose involved and putting lots of money into the company I'm hopefully thinking they are going to do whatever it takes to make it right before release.
My 2¢

Most games especially complex ones like flight sims have an alpha stage and beta stage before general release. Pretty much all the remaining WBs players could go into the alpha stage. Thats when input is most important before everything is locked down and you are just dealing with bugs and game play issues in the beta. NDA and you cant talk about it etc etc. Beta then Early Access, which is a general release with unfinished portions. I think its important that Micropose follows these steps. They have not done a game in a long while and games are different than they were in the 90s. I am hopeful they will have an excellent combat sim in a persistent strategic world where game choices matter, lives\vehicles are limited and effects are long lasting.

All I can say is the Mustang they showed was not so hot. IMO.

I have not heard anything about new plane models or skins.
In a way I hope they use the best of Warbirds 2019 skins and
use PhotoShop Targa and DDS for the artwork. I hope they use
.Planeskin to show artwork in the game. Painting and skinning
and then showing it immediately in the game is priceless!

Pilots are needed to be updated ... can that be possible?

I think WB2020 would be smart to do as you ask iart7.

Monetization in a game is best done using cosmetic add-ons. You start with one or two vehicle skins and if you want the extra premo skin of Historic fighter pilot or squad you have to purchase it or the vehicle from the store. WB gets money, player gets a cool skin\vehicle and everyone is still on the same playing field. No pay to win. Just pay to look cool.

Skins make great give-aways or rewards for accomplishments too. So not everyone flying the hotshot skin would have bought it, some would have earned it and others were just lucky to win it.

If you make skins relatively easy to design players could then vote on the next one to be included in the next update, store or accomplishment. Its an easy way to keep interest up in a game, add new content without much programming and allow players the ability to influence the game's look and feel.
