I'm working on some selections for the Bf110 fighter since there are only the default skins and they are both the same skin. Here is one that is getting finished up. a North Africa plane from 1941. First is the color photograph that inspired the skin.

Looks awesome. You might need to adjust the vertical fin marking for "modern sensibilities", but not my call!! Very nice. |

Yes, I always remove the Xotica markings before I submit for the game. ... oh well! EDITED: By the way, the left side of the vertical stabilizer shows the swastika in the proper orientation. It gets reversed on the right side of the stab. Also, the marking shows up on the inside, as you can see here (which it shouldn't) but it can't be fixed. |

Thanks guys, I'm still working on lots of details. I'm especially pleased with the smoke markings from the engine pipes (shadow of pipes too). I'm having a very hard time getting the hole in the middle of the spinner to work and I'm trying to get the glass of the cockpit to show up right. I still have to do some weathering scratches and I think I'll saturate the colors a little more. Art |
