Haha, Good news is that there will be even more planes for you to test flight ![]() The FL2078 update will be merged with the FL2079 update. New content will be: --= Yakovlev Yak-1's =-- The Yak-1 and Yak-1b have been fully modeled to historical performance and implemented in the game. They will use a new historical skin made by Iart7. See further down for details. --= Lavochkin LaGG-3's =-- (Please note the LaGG's are currently using the La-5F 3d model as a sub, but have brand new skins made by Iart7) The LaGG-3 "4th series" and LaGG-3 "35th series" have been fully modeled to historical performance and implemented in the game. See the first post for details and performance graphs. --= General Motors TBM-3 Avenger =-- The TBM-3 Avenger has been fully modeled to historical performance and implemented in the game. See the first post for details and performance graphs. --= Lavochkins =-- The stall speed has been reduced by 3 mph for the La-5F, La-5FN, La-7, and La7-3. Cheers! /Robert |

Robert wrote: Haha, Good news is that there will be even more planes for you to test flight ![]() I will stall everything w/ 1 engine, including tanks and half tracks, but multi-engine kites obey me somehow... ![]() Been doing couple of offline test flights w/ JU88s and they definitely feel different, also the new bomb selection for A4 is nice and 20mm certainly gives some firepower for strafing and defense, but there's one issue; the peashooter for pilot is still there, but does not shoot. At least in my settings it was used by the trigger for main guns and now happens nothing, when I pull it. In my opinion it could be as well removed because it restricts the view to the right really badly or at least reactivated. Also, when I log in and choose JU88 A4, sometimes it gives me new version w/ 20mm, sometimes not, bit confusing. Files are all up to date. Will do some online flying next month, when settled back down at home, been mostly absent and not dragging my simulator stuff with me. Really eager to see how it works in Legacy. |

Was first time flying in Legacy w/ new JU88 and it was fun as wheelbarrow full of apes; 4 aerial kills in one sortie alone after bombing a base and guarding it for trooper! ![]() |

I recently read memories of one Finnish JU88 pilot. They removed dive brakes and went 45 degree angle in attacks and according him, no accuracy was sacrificed. Highest dive speeds in bombing and escaping cons he mentioned were slightly over 800 km/h and the kite was still controllable. Considerable, FAF lost not one single JU88 to Russian ack or fighters during the war, only in accidents or due technical issues. Well, I went to Training & Dueling to test a bit. Here wings fly off w/ full load at 710, empty bit later. Also, after 600 it's practically uncontrollable and can level from dive or turn only with trim, but then again, wings have a tendency to declare independency from the holy union with airframe. Junkers factory gave for A4 highest permissible speeds 675 km/h up until 2km altitude and 600 km/h above 2km altitude, but in reality it could take quite some more. |

You are The Guru, nice work! Btw, when next time overhauling JU87s, the Stukas, D5 or D8 version with 20mm guns would be welcome. JU 88s defense and strafing capabilities went to a totally new level when 20 mm for the pilot was added and that would be the same with its little brother. They look otherwise just the same than versions with 7.92 pea shooters, but can be distinguished by longer gun barrels: ![]() |

Robert, GasTed, GasTed ... I can only do skins for the models we have in the game. I cannot add cannon or guns, someone else may be able to, but I doubt it. Are you wanting the Ju87G with long cannons? I don't mind doing another Stuka skin. The image above seems to be a winter camo. Do you want me to start doing some research and maybe have a skin by Christmas? Art |
