Na, that's rude Finn. Small company or not, I'd be hitting the resend button.

I'm just curious to see how long it takes to get a response. The website does warn that it can be slow.
Still... a MONTH is sort of past pretty slow isn't it?

finn, Send it again or send a new one. Don't be shy, it won't hurt one bit.

Sent them a fresh email, hoping that I wouldn't have to send another five weeks hence.
I think they're going to just ignore me. Too bad.
I wish IEN had stuck with the original plan to rework the game in Unreal 4.
Ah well, they likely have issues and problems that they can't share with us. I'm damn sure it's not because of a lack of passion for the game.
If it wasn't for Wild Bill, Warbirds would have flown into the sunset years ago.
cheers

Location: What you think, you become. What you feel, you attract. What you imagine, you create.
I would guess Microprose won't reply for the simple fact that WB is still the major owner of WB's and will let him post when there is something worth posting about.

IMHO

A major disappointment. If I recall correctly, we were told the major update was coming last September? I thought they got a fairly large investment to improve the game.

Barely 10 people on whenever I log in. I don't see any of my squad in the game anymore...only for the S3's.

$240 a year is a lot to spend for what this game is presently. $9 a month seems more appropriate.

I've stick around cuz of my squad, the S3's.....

Not that I want to defend the WB situation...
Originally they were to port to the Unreal Graphics engine. It was started and after some months they decided that wasn't the road they wanted/needed to take for whatever reasons. So they decided to use the titan? system that the new Microprose folks had developed and have used for military applications for some years. That is the last of the news that I can remember. So apparently they are still working on porting it over to their in-house graphics engine and why the time frame has slipped. I just wish that WildBill would at least give us some kind of updates and such.

A week after my second email, still no reply.
It will be interesting to see how long they choose to ignore me. I may not live to see their response.

ok, now 2 weeks since my second email. I give up. They're either rude and indifferent, or just incompetent.
I hope they're doing something with Warbirds, but it doesn't look like they're willing or able to talk about it. Of course, one should never ascribe to malice what can be accounted for by ineptitude. (paraphrasing somebody smarter than me. Admittedly, that's a large pool. Can't remember who said it first.)

It's been 4 weeks since my second email to microprose.
No more posts on this will follow. It's clear there will be no response, for whatever reason.
Progress on the beta? Who knows?
Still hopeful.
