Yes... but will it support VR headsets? That's becoming the litmus test for new flight sims.

My first thought on seeing those was 'B17 the Mighty 8th' remake, followed by that the artwork and graphics from the new Micropose games will be shared with Warbirds 202X.

The buzz I've seen in the larger gaming community over the return of Micropose is for the immersive single player campaigns of titles like M1 Tank Platoon, Pacific Air War, European Air War and B17 the Mighty 8th. There would be major disappointment if they knew all they were looking at was Warbirds.

Any new flight sim does need to support VR but that and updated graphics alone wont rebuild a (theoretically mmo) wwii sandbox game, it's already been tried and failed. I wonder if the plan is for Warbirds 202X act as the online component for a series of standalone Micropose wwii games, sharing the same assets and game mechanics.
