Last night of the TOD... No Spit xiv. It's been dropped twice that I can remember in the last week of this TOD. Can we fix whatever gremlin/bug keeps dropping it from the roster? |

<S> The Spitfire XIVe is not disappearing, but rather restricted to a few airfields per side. This due to the Spit XIVe being overall to superior to all other fighters in a dogfight. It's just a beast when it comes to raw power/weight ratio at WEP, and it has few negative traits compared to other fighters thanks to the excellent handling of the Spitfire series. Having it limited to a few fields per side makes sure the game remains "Warbirds", and doesn't turn into "Spitbirds". (This really became an issue when the Spit XIVe was allowed everywhere, and many players wanting to fly another fighter felt quite frustrated). In the Tunisia terrain the Spitfire XIVe is available in RPS6 at: F1, F6, F28, F87 For the Crimea Terrain you can find it in RPS6 at: F21. F25, F28, F181, F190, F214 <S> /Robert |

By the way, I think you should add back the +18 BST as a second stage. Its a bit of a giant leap from Climb BST to max BST at the moment. All or nothing.... If with 150 grade fuel the engine can run cool enough to run safely or 5 mins at max +21 lb boost, then it can safely also run at a reduced +18 lb boost for maybe 7.5 mins on 150 grade fuel. It will make flying it much smother . |
