Here are a few screens of my latest work.

We have two skins for the Fokker D.XXI plane,
one Finnish and one Dutch. But there were several
planes that were captured and then flown by
the Luftwaffe. I am still working on this one:

Nice skin, sir! :-)
And I've also set a note to include the desert + winter MiG-3 camos for the future FL2071 update. Just tell me if there are any other skins missing in the game and I'll inlcude them also. :-).
(Feel free to send them in email).

<S> and love your art work, sir!

Nice work. Given the right environment FR did just fine. During a 3 month Winter War -39 … -40, Finnish FRs scored 151 kills incl. a (world?) record of 6 Russian DB-3s in just 4 minutes by Capt. Sarvanto. Finnish FR losses were 10 planes and 6 pilots. Total number of Finnish FRs was 40. Later on (41-44) FRs were used reconnaissance role only.

Definitely not a bad plane. I always have a possitive kill/death ratio in them, especially against pilots who underestimate the Fokker. It really turns on a dime.

"Given the right environment FR" ... What does FR mean?

Why I like the D.XXI?

"The maneuverability of the Dutch fighters stood them in good stead during the five days before the Netherlands capitulated, although eventually they were overwhelmed by sheer weight of numbers (and limited ammunition supplies) and only eight remained airworthy. Their greatest victory came on 10 May, when D.XXIs destroyed 37 out of a formation of 55 Junkers Ju 52/3ms which crossed the Dutch border in the early morning."

And while you experts on the #221 Fokker D.XXI are here, I have reached a roadblock.
What is the label that should go on the propeller? Hamilton or Ratier? I have seen images
of the 221 that's in the museum and it shows Hamilton, but I read somewhere that the
propeller was a Ratier.

"2 bladed replaced by a 3 bladed Ratier"

If no one objects, I'm putting on the Hamilton blade. This is why...
Because: The museum piece mentioned below labeled as No. 221
and has photos showing a Hamilton blade ...

"At the present day, there is only one Fokker D-XXI present in the Netherlands,
this aircraft is displayed in the Militaire Luchtvaart Museum (Military Aviation
Museum) at Soesterberg Airbase. It is a former Finnish aircraft, painted in
Dutch markings."

So probably the Hamilton propeller is either from the Finnish
plane or the restoration used the perhaps more common or
more available Hamilton.

Hmm, dunno. Different Fokkers might have used different airscrews, but pictures I've googled seem to indicate the Hamilton was used for at least some D.XXI's, so should be ok. Couldn't find any data specifically mentioning the brand of the airscrew for this plane.

A bit off topic but do we have a skin for the Mohawk? RAF Hawk 75As. There is some interest in a Burma theatre terrain.

37 Junkers Ju52 destroyed? Wow, those were troop carriers weren't they?

As for the Mohawk RAF Hawk 75. Will start that one maybe Friday. I have to do these two D.XXI's and the TBF Avenger Subhunter.
