It's incredible how mirlox flies. He has a flying style that magnetises the opponent into doing his bidding, to make false steps. It's like he makes move A, opponent is forced to make move B, and move B is the disastrous move in that situation. Theres a theory behind this. When you anticipate and react to opponent plane manouvers, you first take in what they are doing. With mirlox, he deliberatley makes false steps just before making the correct move, which causes the opponent to make a false move right into the waiting hands of an unanticipated attack move. Thats why this chap Mirlox is a great scorer. |

Mirlox has great situational awareness. I'd rate juice, prime and oscar well above him in terms of managing energy and dictating the terms of a fight. He's no slouch, for sure though. Good player. finn |

After further reflection, I am issuing an apology to the warbird community, fess and mirlox. No need for name calling. I may not like a particular player's technique or buffer banter..but it is after all just a game... ![]() |

I've had several duels against Mirlox, including palm-sweating scissors. Sometimes I've won, sometimes I've lost. How people judge HO tendencies and excuses is one thing. I'd say though that pure skill wise he is one heck of a pilot when it comes to tactical fighting and can also mix it in a close dogfight. The best pilots in Warbirds are probably Juice=, Oscar, Prime- etc, but Mirlox is definitely one of the more dangerous opponents. |
