From AGW (private board), so far he is doing ok, made it through the brain surgery, and has posted on the board. I don't know if there were any effects. "Some of you may not be aware that @Grunge , former Warbirds pilot and member of The Wildbunch and JG80, suffered a fairly serious aneurysm back on the 15th of February. He’s been recovering in hospital since. I know he's OK with sharing that he's in hospital; I'm not so sure about how comfortable he is with us sharing how he's been affected, so I'll leave that to him to comment on. I’ve only really been flying and playing with Grunge for less than a year since he started joining us on Friday nights, but he’s a helluva guy and a great virtual pilot. He's been setting up missions for the AGW DCS crew to fly, and although I've managed to miss them all myself, I know the group that's flying DCS with him loves them. I'm sure he'd shake his head and say there's no need to fuss, but one of the things that keeps me coming back to AGW is the way we keep supporting each other. I hope you will all join me in sending mojo his way (as is AGW tradition) for a full and speedy recovery. |
