I have an interesting issue on my Laptop with Warbirds. Every seven seconds the game freezes for about a half a second. So far I've tried half a dozen solutions from the internet- microsoft support, etc, but nothing has worked. I've done a clean install on warbirds. I've turned off as many things as I can that might be running in the background. I've set the Nvidea 840settings to the lowest possible stress settings. Weird. Anybody else run into this issue? My system: MSI gaming laptop NVidea 840 Intel I7-4700 @2.40 ghz 8 gigs of RAM Windows 10 home 64 bit. Any ideas? This doesn't happen on my home desktop computer-which admittedly is much more powerful. Thanks finn |

Hey grumpy, It happens on every map online—- testing further I found offline play is NOT affected. So I think iris my wireless internet setup that is the problem. I am dlownloading new drivers and hoping that fixes it. Otherwise I’ll be restricted to weekend play at home. Such isl life. |

I'm hardwired to my router, so wireless isn't my problem. I'm sure it's more than likely a driver issue, but I've tried numerous different ones with no change on those 3 maps. Strange that it isn't a problem in the S3's, but in the main it is. Hope you get it figured out. |

I'm on a Mac with a really fast strong connection. Since upgrading to High Sierra from Sierra, I have had continuous screen freezes that seem to happen on a repeating interval almost like its related to some kind of internal clock. Sometimes it sticks for a few milliseconds or so like when I'm using ext views or just panning around the cockpit.,. Interestingly, it doesnt seem to create any external warping as nobody has pointed it out to me that I am warpy.. only on the user FE.. Sorry but kind of glad its happening to others too. Hopefully this will make it easier to pinpoint as it has also caused a huge hit on my framerates since Sierra.. |

FYI>.. problem solved with a clean reinstall of windows 10 and warbirds. I left a lot of apps uninstalled- my only virus program is windows defender now. Screen freezes gone- FPS maxed out at monitor maximum. Thank goodness! finn |

Thanks for the info, Finn. I've been having freezes (sometimes controls, sometimes whole game) recently. I have an ancient computer, so perhaps that's part of the prob, but might now check the antivirus/firewall setting. Perhaps it'll help. |
