It is with a very heavy heart I must tell that Irongn has passed away . We were worried about him and his wife because they live in Paradise California . So with the help of concerned people in warbirds we were given his phone number , I called that number today and got ahold of Irongn's wife she told me the very bad news that Irongn had passed away in July of a 6 week battle with cancer . Irongn was a one of a kind person that shone thru in everything he did in warbirds . He was very loyal ,honorable and trustworthy . They just don't make um like irongn anymore. I will miss him very much as will all that have ever met him . Rest in peace my tanking buddy you will never be forgotten . Sincerally , choppr |

Very sorry to hear. Irongn was a gentleman and a very calm voice amidst the chaos we'd have during battles in WB. I enjoyed many nights flying missions with him on TS. I could always count on his SDK clearing me as I would approach base for landing with enemy in tow. A great shot. RIP sir. |

Irongn was definitely a good man. Even though I have passionately cursed at being shot down by his M-16/Skdf fire on numerous occasions, I have had nothing but respect for Irongn. An honourable man and probably the most accurate GV-marksman there was in Warbirds. Very sad to hear of his passing. Blue skies! /Robert |
