over the past couple of years I've had the problem of losing the 'Full Screen' option on video settings with the 'Fit to Screen' replacing it. I would get my Win7 taskbar over the top of the game itself. I found that the gfx9set.cfg had been replaced with gfx900set.cfg. Deleting and reopening merely replaced the gfx900set.cfg

Fix: have a copy of gfx9set.cfg saved in another folder to copy into the main Warbirds folder

gfx9 could be the solution to other minor gui problems as well.

I am running the most current version and update and still have gfx9set.cfg. I do not have gfx900set.cfg.

I also have the "full screen" options under video.

Could you provide your version number from the splash screen? I have Version: 4.29 R5 Enhanced_Graphics Build: April 14, 2016

Hey Chunky, same build as you, but I don't have the problem anymore. I cleared it up by deleting 900set and recopying the 9set.
I have this issue a few times over the last couple years. I have no idea what causes it, but when I posted about it on the old board nobody had an solution.
My intention is the start a thread that can be helpful for players with common problems. Finding, downloading and reinstalling dx9 after a new install, for example.

Your post is great and I hope anyone who has that issue finds this and is able to resolve their issue. I was just commenting that the current build with the most recent update does not have that file. At least on my end.

Thank you for posting your findings. That is what the board is for and the community is about.
