<S> all!
I've now figured out how to set the fields on maps and, if wanted, I could turn a big part of the Greece map set to neutral fields in order to limit the playing field on this beautiful but very large terrain. I would need to have Ients permission first but I'm just checking if the community likes this idea or not? The way I'm thinking to scale the war zone down is shown in the picture below. The purple line is where the starting frontline would be with green fields to the south- and red fields to the north of the frontline. Both sides have the same amount of fields and airfields.

That's way too complicated and messy..

Better to divide map into 4 equal sections with ONLY top left section active.

NB: this doesn't show all the fields.

Divide the map by equal grids (similar to what Bol posted).

But try to keep some naval ops available for those of us who are not Army scum.

Greece map is the best as it is imho. I like how each field/base/city is unique, difficulty to close them vary and there are so many to work on! It's huge indeed but victory can be achieved in 24 hours - I saw at least 3 resets in the last Greece TOD. All maps don't have to be small - size difference brings variety and makes the game more challenging and interesting. If you still have to scale it down, divide it into like 1/4 and please keep using all(or most) of them.

Field farmers are about all that's left in the Main now, so just leave it alone. It must be real fun being able to go where no competition is and bombacide/jabocide rinse and repeat. For the life of me I don't see much fun in that.

Sorry, I didn't take fighter-fighter combat into consideration. If scaling down is what a majority want I won't oppose.

No need to be sorry. It is what it is. My time flying in the Main is so small now that my thoughts on the arena are about worthless. What caused my time to go so low is the NOE and under 2k field farmers that die, re-up die, rinse and repeat 10 or more times closing fields left and right.

I've about lost all interest in the "Flight Sim" that has become an Xbox fantasy. After over 18 years it's morphed into something that's not my cup of tea. Let the gamers left playing in the game have what they desire.

Why are there generally only 5-10 people online at 9pm in Europe? I don't understand that.

What I dont understand is how the few guys that fly the MA seldom pop up in the forums. Or how dead this forum can be. Sometimes days without a new post. The new accounts that sign up dont seem to be directed here.

------------- THE FORUM --------------

I really like what -Jabo- said about the forum.
I think most young folks like social media a LOT.
Closest thing to that is right here: the forum.
EVERYBODY that is playing the game should be
directed immediately to THIS place. The iENT
website can have a button here in the forum
that directs them there.

Even Kanye had his moment in the forum today
with TRUMP! I'm not being political, but we all
want to be heard and we all need to communicate.
