I haven't been flying Warbirds for a while now but wanted to pop in to say farewell to those I know here. I've been dealing with throat cancer for two years and found out last week I now have pancreatic cancer as well. No cure, less than 12 months to go.

Warbirds was fun, I spent way too much time here :) and met some great people.

Holy crap, not sure what to say. Dale, it was an honor and pleasure flying and learning from you while in the 31st. Lots of memories flying with you and flying against you. Good luck and God bless ~S~

So sorry to hear this - nothing I can think of saying seems anything but trite in the face of your diagnosis, but I know you were a great asset to this game and this community, and I'm darn sure that was a carry over from a real life built on integrity and honour. God bless you,
you will be in my prayers.

Remember flying scout missions with ya Dale in the 31st. One helluva pilot and the only guy I ever knew that actually could fly a real B24.. You will be remembered always..

Peace and blue skies..

Colmbo,

Always a pleasure sir.
Your situation sucks, as does any words I would hope to express.

I would want your journey forward to be as your journey in the past, in truth, honor, and humor.

God Bless you.

So sorry to hear this Dale. It was my pleasure to fly with you, as well as learn from you. Many fun times in the 31st that I won't forget. Smooth sailing.

I believe you quit Warbirds just shortly after I started flying, sir, so unfortunately I never got to know you. I do remember you as one of the top sticks around at that time though.
Bless you and your kin sir and I wish you great and warm memories with family and friends, both in this remaining time and in what the future holds.
