I use a MacBook Pro early 2013 version with the latest OS and a secondary monitor. I have trouble with the video skipping and the ground flashing white along with a bubble effect. I have worked with "Juice" in the Training Arena to Troubleshoot and he asked that I post this here and in the Mac Forum to raise awareness and to seek a solution. In the process of troubleshooting the issues we took all video settings in the game to the lowest common denominator and nothing fixes the problems. When you de-select Triple Buffering the game does not save it. You are also unable to reduce the VAR Level below 2000. It is difficult to shoot enemy targets on an airfield because the video jumps and if you don't anticipate the skip it's easy to lawn dart. It also has the same effect in the air when banking and attempting to shoot an aircraft in that the enemy plane skips ahead of you. I know of several other player with the same issues and some have completely stopped playing Warbirds because of it. I am reaching the point of canceling my membership. It's challenging enough to improve personal performance in this game and the video issue are a handicap. |

Does the issue happen when offline, or only online? Has the problem always been happening since you bought the computer or just recently? Does anyone else with the MacBook 2013 have the same problem? Did you use earlier versions of WB & was it working right? Have you tried Mac System Preferences? Monitor only or laptop or both? |

I dont have the option to play offline. I started noticing it a few months ago when new maps were introduced. Yes another player Countt has the same problem with nearly the same Macbook Pro and has also worked with Juice to work on the problem. Swanee also has the problem with a high end desktop Mac. Yes we have been through Mac System Preferences. It happens on both the laptop and monitor. Here is the config: MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, (Early 2013) 2.6 Ghz Intel Core i5 Memory 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR# Graphics Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB The rub here is that this machine meets the requirements to play this game yet there are video issues and Ident is not delivering on their product. There were some enhancements to the maps that have caused problems with multiple users. There needs to be a programming fix. |

I don't know about the MAC. Just that I believe there are 2 download versions of WB for the MAC. Juice will know. Have you tried rolling back to different (older) video card drivers ? Does the resolution you are running the game (vid setting) at match your native screen resolution? |

+VNSLP My last update was 2 weeks ago and then again today. Bullok-I am not messing around with the version of video drivers to any earlier version to run this game. Screen resolutions match. There needs to be a programming fix. |

Been reporting this framerate drain due to the clutter/trees that have been swarmed all over some terrains. Noticed the 'clutter turned off' message in the buffer yesterday. Thanks for turning it off... In the older versions of yesteryear, there was a dot command to set clutterdistance which helped raise framerates .. Something going on there back then. Hope they find it!! |

Problem still exists. I was online tonite and still am getting the skipping in the video and the random white geometric flashes and bubbling up and down of the ground of the terrain grids. The closer you fly to the ground the more prevalent the skipping and makes shooting ground targets a harder. Frame rate averaged 30-50 fps when flying. Frame rates when tanking were between 18 and 30 frps. Unable to disable triple buffering. |
