Old pc died so got a new one and opened a new account. Now I only have help and chat for options on the bottom of the screen when on the main menu, in tower, or in flight. No quit flight, update, roster, settings, or exit game. This is the second update and had to do a complete download to get the last one. Every time I download the game I have to redo all my settings. Is there a reason I lost most of my options, do new players have the same options as I and if so why? I can see no reason why all options aren't available to everyone. Just trying to figure this out before I do another download.. |

possibly dx9 issues or win10 devices worth a search to see if others had your issues |

Just did a complete download of dx9 and wb's. Had a full options bar, went to settings to reset them, went back to main menu and lost the options bar except help and chat. Exited the game, came back and still only had help and chat... Maybe Ient doesn't have my account right or new systems aren't compatible with the programming... or... I don't know.. sigh.. maybe I should have stayed a goneer...

1. Always keep a copy of your "settings" folder on your desktop - so that in case it gets wiped you can just copy and paste back in. c:warbirds20xx/settings 2. You can update the game from the main WB folder - locate the file called "iENLauncher" and click on that. c:warbirds20xx/ienlauncher Not sure what is causing your issue. |

Are you using any apps for your joystick? or a one of those usb routers? I think I've heard of people losing their settings with issues there. Also looking at the devices part of windows control panel.Might be something there that needs checking or unchecking. |

Hi all. Looks like the widescreen bug is back again.. When you are in flight and go to the video settings page and change anything, it will tell you you must restart game for changes to take effect and returns you to the game with the squished cockpit view. Can be fixed by typing .widescreen 0 but it isnt supposed to act that way.. Needs to be fixed asap since you cannot make any changes to the settings that will stick. Just an FYI.. |
