Thanks very much for the continued work on the planes. BTW... is there any one place or document where flight characteristics for all the (recently revised) models are collected? Just wondering, as it would be good to study... -cato- |

The FM team doesn't have enough manpower to do everything. There's basically 2 building FM's, 1 that feeds those 2 with information when questions arise, and 1 data geek. If I'm not mistaken in your warbirds folder there should be a notes file you can open or when you update it will ask you if you want to see what was changed and all changes should be noted there. Don't think that's what you want to know though. Otherwise you can volunteer your services. ![]() <S> |

<S> Cato, sir! As Grumpy said we won't have the time to set up anything advanced for comparing the new airplanes. However maybe we can use the updates forum to keep copies of all the update posts in one place. Would have to check with the moderators first. Cheers! ![]() /Robert |

Robert wrote: The Veltro (Greyhound) is the pinnacle of the Macchis and entered service in February 1943. It fields a license built DB 605 engine like the Bf 109G's. The C.205 is faster than the Messerschmitt though due to it's sleeker airframe design. While the earlier Macchis were under armed, the C.205 instead boasts 2x.50 cals and 2x20 mm cannons. This plane is fast, agile, climbs well and can pack a good punch. The Veltro is in every aspect "A rich man's Messerschmitt". It should be very competitive in the mid/late era, and also able hold it's own against later era planes. the veltro used the DB605 and the MG 151. it was certainly a good fighter. was it better than 109 or 190? check your sources. http://kurfurst.org/Tactical_trials/109 ... ia_de.html |
