Ok... I've played several hours now in the main arena, and I must say, it's been more fun than I even hoped it would be. The new FM's make several of the planes much more flyable and fun, and when the odds are even, I"ve seen some great battles- with much less acrimony than I remember. Lots and lots of fun.
I WOULD like to see the current terrain modified- curtain off a small segment of it for early war, and gradually expand the 'play' area as the planes get faster and more capable.
Right now, the combination of early planes and a huge bloody map make the gameplay pretty awful. It's a beautiful map, but it's too big to use all of it for any part of the TOD, let alone the first day!
