<S> all!
I've extracted and edited some new Fw190 (BMW 801 Engine) sound from a fw190 engine test run video. The file name is RADIAL5.
Please feel free to download it and compare it to the current fw190 sound. Get my new RADIAL5 sound at:

https://ufile.io/iloyl

Instructions:
Just download it and then copy-paste the file into x:/Warbirds/sounds/default
(You may want to make a back-up copy of the original RADIAL5 sound first)

<S> and all feedback is welcome :-)

Any feedback on the new Fw190 sound? Better than the current?

<S> Robert,
I finally had a chance to try out your new 190 sound. It's good.
The only nitpick I would have, which I have with a lot planes really, is while it gets louder the revs don't change when the engine should be screaming. I know the sound file can't make that change in revs, but I rely on the sound for clues about my speed.
Good job on it.

Thank you, sir! Yep I unfortunately don't know how to increase the rev of the engine with speed. It seems that the game simply pitches the sound as the speed increases.

Btw I'm currently working on bringing the whole Fw190 series up to date. I've started with the Fw 190A-4 and it's looking promising. It should be more competitive once released as it will hit historical numbers. It will be outturning the current version since the liftco was previously set to low. The previous programmers made it stall at 110 mph at ~8400 lb, but according to historical reports the 110 mph stall speed was for the Fw 190D at 9420 lb. The A-4 will also be carrying 260 rounds of extra cannon ammo as all reports I've found indicates that it carried 2x250 rnds and 2x140 rnds respectively for the two pairs of 20 mm cannons. More ammo always comes in handy ;-).

Anyways, here are a few of the test results from my tests today. Do note that I will still make tweaks to it before it's ready. Also I don't know when the next Warbirds update will be, but hopefully all the Fw 190 lovers will soon have a Focke Wulf series that flies like it should :-).

Consistent turn rate at sea level, best boost, no flaps, 50% fuel:
Current Fw 190A-4: 22.4 sec/lap
Upcoming Fw 190A-4: 19.4 sec/lap
Comparison to P-51D: 18.4 sec/lap
