Hi everyone.

Does anyone use a head tracking setup, such as Track IR, when playing Warbirds? If so, what kind?

I was looking at trying TrackHat, as it's substantially cheaper than TrackIR, but am not sure whether it would work. It's based on OpenTrack, and while several flight sims are listed as compatible, Warbirds is not. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks.

Hi -cato-!
I'm using: "Head Tracking Controller Aerosoft TrackIR 5 inkl. Vector Expansion Set Basecap USB PC".
This is a TrackIR 5 and you use a baseball cap for the sensors. There is also a version with a clip you attach to the headphones. For me the version I have works great and was well worth the money. I don't know about Trackhat as I've never used it.

Hey Cato, I've used both Trackir5 and TrackNoir in WB. Only 3 axis of rotation and no issues except in some planes that I rarely if at all fly.

This is from this Sunday's Squad Select Series event (S3), where you can see how the TrackIR 5 works in Warbirds.
