Hello my WB install suddenly crashes to desktop shortly after launch, for example when switching airfields or vehicle type.

I managed to get airborne once, then crahed to desktop after about 4 minutes of flight.
Also, in the Main arena, there are no loadouts shown for bombers (if you manage to switch to them without a crash...)
When trying to join the Kharkov arena, i am asked to check for updates, but there isn't any.

Offline areans working fine.

Any other MAC guys here having the same problem, probably due to some in game changes (like flight model data or arenas (Kharkov arena seems to be new))?

Seems to be something messed up there...

Friday nite I updated one of my copies of WB's as mentioned in the email i received. l had problems going on the runway most times, couldn't do anything and had to bail to get out of the plane or WB would crash. In the end I downloaded a fresh copy of WB's and updated it several times. Then it would work. Weird thing is I understand that the FL used in the new update is 2039 and the non updated active FL is 2038. However after updating multiple times it shows I'm using 2037 BUT I do see the trees that we mac users never had before. Why I updated before it was mandatory, I don't know...I guess I just wanted to help the dev. team in trying the latest and greatest. I'm not changing anything now as I want to fly and not mess around with the software.
I also see an issue on WB startup where the resolution isn't shown as 32 bit or any other depth choice being available. Z buffer and stencil selections are not available inside the WB settings either with the update.

Hey Guys, I had exact same issues when I logged into the game last night.
Didn't realize there was an update.
When I heard there was one, I figured that may be it.
I was correct. Did the update and all worked well.
Think it's a 90mb update.

I'm on OS 10.12.2

Even though it's not suppose to be a mandatory update, for us Mac guys it must be, in order to keep from getting kicked to DT.
I did had to replace all my settings, since they got overwritten when I updated.
I learned a long time ago to keep a folder of my settings separate on my computer just in case.
I also back up the entire WB folder before each update as well.

I have 3 different variations of Warbirds on my Mac and updated all 3 without the issues mentioned in the original post. Various settings did get changed and had to be corrected. (I reinstalled the BAIL.wav from Swanee...because it's better and doesn't make me crap my pants.)

Oh, and the cockpit and sounds for the Mig 15 are messed up.

As I mentioned above the FL2037 set is loaded in the main (why??) and I experienced several CTD's as well which never happen usually... Did not attempt update and wont until its ready..

There also aren't engine sounds in the Lancaster as witnessed by another mac user and me.

Sorry, it is the Wellington that doesn't have engine sounds.

Okay, found these on an old backup from 2006.

Bommel had a ton of great sounds he posted.
These are some of the bail sounds.

If you want to replace your current bail sound, just delete the first part of the name on these so the file just says bail.wmv and put it in place of the one in your WB sounds folder.
Always keep a backup of it. Every time you run an update from WB it will replace it with the screaming cartoon. You will have to replace it each time you run the updater.
