Apple has been pressing Mac developers to move to 64-Bit, so we decided to get ahead of the game for once.
Please let any Mac players you know that a 64-Bit version is now available for testing.

Other than some changes in handling the background music, no differences from the 32-Bit (that I know of).


The 64-Bit version can be gotten from the downloads page:
by picking the second Mac link which says 64-Bit (BETA)
It is a separate application and will not overwrite the existing WarBirds app.

lol... surely that's the first thing people disable - not heard that for many years

Anyway you can see that from iEN perspective, they don't believe the 64 bit processor version should be any different from the older version.

I would encourage you to report any bugs her in the forum objectively and just use the older MAC version until the issues are resolved.
Its a separate download application.

Finger nails on chalk boards is a better sound than the default bail.wav.

Booner, I’m not a victim or ‘seeing it my way”, lots of others have seen you exploit the games glitches. As usual the guilty deflect and try to draw attention away from their actions rather than own up. But nice try.

My kids find the bail sound hysterical but I could probably do with a change too. Very funny comparison qweqwe!!

After every update I just replace the bail sound with this one:

Just put in in the sounds folder to replace the default one.
It's a small pain in the ass, but then i don't have to hear that cartoon shriek.

If you really don't want to hear the default bail sound...Trick is... you just have to fly well enough to never put yourself in a position where you need to bail

Im curious as to why anyone is testing a beta that features tanks that dont die and bulletproof planes. Are these new features that are being developed for the game? I think not.. Anyone who is testing a beta version in the main arenas should announce it at some point to any attacker instead of just letting it go on and pissing off everyone.. as is happening here..
