Is there a big sign that flashes telling you which flight mode you are in before you hit the fly button?

That way you can change from easy mode to realistic mode before taxiing. If I try to take off in easy mode I'll auger in for sure

It comes up in your buffer when you log in, also lower left hand corner of screen you will find your choices.

Good start but I suggest you guys go back and try and duplicate the arrangement we used to have in the old Air Combat Arena in the late 90's.... Starting with a small 4 color map like 40 miles by 40 miles arranged in 4 small islands... one small island per color with 2 bases each,, one large and one small.. 2 bombers and 2 fighters that rotate each week.. This encourages short flight times to fights for newbies and lets them get accustomed to flying and fighting in similar planes while learning how to buff, bomb and furball without being bashed like baby seals while learning. Charge em $10 a month unlimited hours and dont allow them in the main arena with full realism until they upgrade to a full account.. Think about it..

The Malta terrain we using has airplanes with airstarts enabled at all vils towns etc, along with the airfields. Vils etc pretty close. Short game time (like a couple of hours), so the map keeps resetting.
At the forward edge of battle the general spawns fighter caps and bombing runs so there's airplanes in the air, and defending tanks roll when attacked by tanks, so there is something to do, and something to fight even if you log in byyourself.
