RESULT
The axis and allies entered phase 3 "tied" with one score each.
Phase 3 therefore would be come the deciding factor.

Attendance for Sunday 30th Sept : 12 unique pilots

Phase 3 would see the Luftwaffe launch 20 fighter sorties supporting of the bombers of Luftflotte 3.
A further 20 sorties were also carried out by German bomber crews.

Much to the utter disbelief of the German crews, the RAF sortied a total of 47 aircraft in a spirited defence.
It was a bad night for the LW from that perspective.

> Spitfires destroyed 69 enemy aircraft for 24 losses.
> Hurricaines destroyed 3 enemy aircraft for 0 losses.
> BF109 and Bf110 fighters destroyed 14 enemy aircraft for 32 losses.

Luftflotte 3 were to launch 5 large waves of bombers over the night.
Although 56 bombers fell to RAF fighters, they were still able to wreak utter destruction on the city of Coventry.
Birmingham was also to receive sporadic bombing that night.

The best performing LW bomber pilot was greenx. Wtg!

Although the Luftwaffe were able to successfully destroy the city Coventry and inflict minor damage on Birmingham, their losses were high.
German high command has cancelled all invasion plans as a result.

The final phase therefore is awarded to the RAF, who win the campaign phases by 2:1
